I've been wanting to try P90-X for a while now but life happens and I just got tied up. Then one early morning around 3am, I saw the infomercial for the Insanity program! P90X is a 3 month (90 day) routine, where as Insanity is a 60-day program! If someone knows of a magic 1 month program please send it in, but since I can't find a 4 week workout routine (with good reviews) I chose Insanity because of the time span it offers! I don't even have 2 complete months to whip myself into shape, so to add to the insane workout this already entails, I'm going to be adding a running routine as well as a skipping routine.
If you're interested, you can CONTINUE READING for my current measurements, goals, altered diet & detailed routine.
All updates will be via twitter, so be sure to follow me if you are starting this program as well & would like to hear me complain about pain! lol.
I've participated in High School Softball, VolleyBall, and Track & Field. Represented my country, and played College Tennis, Ran thousands of miles for Leauge Soccer, and have been MVP & Captain of every team I've played on. I was also awarded the coveted (by all athletes) Most Athletic Female award my Senior Year of High School and numerous of individual accolades throughout. I didn't say those things to brag, but simply to let you all know that I know what it means to be fit and healthy, and I know exactly what it will take to change the shape of my body, or any body for that matter. I've been a nutritionist at GNC, and have designed specialized diets for clients and have seen them slim down. I know what parts I want firmer, I know what I want sculpted, lifted, and toned. I know how to tailor a regime to fit the goals I have in mind for my shape and height & It will take dedication and an unmeasurable amount determination to achieve this before July 1st.
I highly recommend measuring yourself before you begin any work out plan! Create a Core Card like I have above, and be realistic to avoid disappointment! Although my goals are set on this particular core card, these are not my final goals.
