Moisturizers! The magic potion face lotion - is one of the most important products you need in your skincare & makeup arsenal!
Regardless if you have oily, dry, combonation or a mixture of all types of skin, a moisturizer will save you from Cakey makeup, flaky foundation, blemishes, and if you've been searching for artificial light make-up products to give your face a glow, you can achieve the same thing with a little dollup of moisturizer.
I've tried hundreds of moisturizers, and I have specific qualities that I look for in a Holy Grail or even just a daily moisturizing product. As per request of my sensitive skin, I have to be picky when it comes to products like this because there are so many affordable (as well as high end) ones on the market! For me to repurchase a moisturizer it must stand out. How did L'OREAL's Youth Code Day/Night Cream stack up against my harsh checklist?
It's never to early to start protecting your skin from aging factors! Anti-aging products are some of the most sought after items on the beauty market, for obvious reasons! Some anti-aging products I've tried have not excited me at all , further more it's very difficult to observe anti-aging results, but there should still be some visibile or tangible signs that are beneficial to your regime. It's not just an anti -aging product, it still is a moisturizer and should perform as one.
Like I stated previously, I have sensitive skin. If you look at the attached photo's, I've almost gone through this entire jar and I have to say that this product did not break me out or irritate my skin at all.
A moisturizer is made to lock in your skin's natural, well, moisture. This cream is slightly thicker than your average product of the sort which is why I love using this as my night cream. However, it should not limited to just evening wear! I've worn this under tinted moisturizer, liquid and powder foundation, and bare after deep cleansing.If you using any type of exfoliant, in my case I use a clarisonic, this is an amazing product to use after any scrubbing of the skin.
The smell can be a little difficult to adjust to, but it fades after a few minutes. The texture is very silky and soft, thick and very creamy! This makes my skin soft and supple after my skin care regimen.
The initial price ($24.99) may throw a few people off, but if I find a product that is amazing quality and does what it says it will. Living up to it's promise is priceless!
For all my packaging freaks, I have to say that it's functional not pretty! I do like it as it stores very well, and will not shatter your $30.00 all over the floor if it falls. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a new moisturizer.
