Welcome to my [3B +3C ] Crazy Curly World! I believe curly hair is already a ''style''. It hardly ever looks TERRIBLE, unless it's really dry and damaged! However, trying to be creative with curly hair can be exhausting! Here are a few of my favourite hairstyles I like to wear when I'm out of ideas - they never fail me!
HEY! You with the straight hair, don't feel left out! You can achieve all of these looks with a flat iron/curling iron and craft fingers!
When it comes to dressing up your curls for a formal event, an easy way to go from everyday to the big day is with a Classic Chignon!
If your head is full of curls, coils, kinks or waves, you have dealt with the temptation to straighten your hair for events that may require your attendance in elegant/black tie attire.
You don't have to find your flat iron for every formal event you are invited to ! A few Bobbi pins and a hair accessory can transform your curls from basic to luxurious.
To achieve this look I washed my hair & let it air dry to achieve my natural curl pattern. I think Chignons look better when they have texture to them, rather than sleek. I misted my hair lightly with a heat protectant and curled random pieces (with a [1/2] inch curling iron) mostly on the crown and ends. I gave my hair body with light tousling and pinned it up with a few bobbi pins and kissed it with some hair spray.
OPTIONAL: [NO SALON REQUIRED] I added a pin (from an old dress I gave to goodwill) to my hair and the look was completed! - Classic Chignon in 15 minutes (FOR FREE!).

Choosing between cute or quick - #CurlyGirlProblems! To wash and go or To refresh and style - want a little of both?I find that if I am running late for something, I don't have time to Co-wash in the shower, air dry/diffuse & style my hair. There is just not that much time in a curly headed girl's day!
I remember wearing my hair in a ponytail for most of my life - it was just an easy way to keep the hair out of my face. Now, a few years later I've decided that a more creative way to secure the fly away's is to braid them!
This is another one of my favourite go-to's. It's quick & easy, one simple side braid with a bang leave out & you're ready to seize the day! It's cute, trendy & can go with any outfit for a casual day!I love wearing my hair like this whether I'm having a good or bad hair day! Refresh, Moisturize, Braid...Out the door. Carpe Diem.
